The Feasts of TISRI
The following feasts were celebrated
among the ancient Israelites during the month of TISRI, mentioned in Nehemiah
8.2:

Trumpets: Represented the second
advent of Christ and the regathering of Israel. Was instituted in Numbers
29.1.

Day of Atonement: Represented
salvation by Faith in Christ, and the Baptism of Fire prior to Israel entering
the Millinium. Established in Leviticus 16.29.

Feast of Tabernacles/ Booths:
Represented the millinial reign of Christ. Established in Leviticus 23.34.
-
Solemn Assembly: A special Sabbath
that recognized that God does all the work in salvation. Established in
Leviticus 23.36.
