ETERNAL SECURITY is the Biblical doctrine that teaches
that you, as a believer in Jesus Christ, can never lose your salvation
regardless as to what sin you might commit. This is not the flippantly
titled "Once Saved Always Saved" concept that opponents to this doctrine
(Legalists and Religionists) satirize. You can also find other resources
on Eternal Security here, with future studies
to come. The following scriptures teach this Biblical Doctrine:
ROMANS 8.38-39
"FOR I AM PERSUADED THAT NEITHER DEATH, NOR LIFE, NOR ANGELS, NOR PRINCIPALITIES,
NOR POWERS, NOR THINGS PRESENT, NOR THINGS
TO COME (A reference to angelic demonic hierarchies.
See Ephesians 6.12) NOR HEIGHTH, (Hupsoma,
a reference to the Godhead) NOR DEPTH, (Bathos,
the "deep things". A reference to the things of Satan) NOR ANY OTHER
CREATURE SHALL SEPARATE US SHALL SEPARATE US FROM THE LOVE OF GOD WHICH
IS IN CHRIST JESUS OUR LORD."
JOHN 1.12-13
"BUT AS MANY AS RECEIVED ( Elabon, Aorist, Received
once and for all) HIM TO THEM GAVE HE POWER TO BECOME THE SONS OF
GOD, EVEN TO THEM THAT BELIEVE ON HIS NAME. WHICH WERE BORN., NOT OF BLOOD
NOR OF THE WILL OF FLESH, NOR OF THE WILL (Man didn't
bring about his new birth. God did!) OF MAN, BUT OF THE WILL OF GOD."
GALATIANS 3.26
"FOR YE ARE (Eimi, Present Linear Action = Keep on
being) ALL THE CHILDREN OF GOD BY FAITH IN CHRIST JESUS."
1 PETER 1.4-5
"TO AN INHERITANCE INCORRUPTIBLE (Aphthartos = not
spoilable or perishable. We will never die) AND UNDEFILED,
(Amientos = Not covered in dung, not garbage) AND THAT FADETH
NOT (Amartantos = Cannot decay or rust due to outside influences)
AWAY, RESERVED (Tereo, Perfect passive participle
= Permanently reserved) IN HEAVEN FOR YOU, WHO ARE KEPT
(Phroureo, Present Passive Participle = To mount guard over, concentrate,
habitually fortify to prevent loss) BY THE POWER OF GOD THROUGH FAITH
UNTO SALVATION READY TO BE REVEALED IN THE LAST TIME."
EPHESIANS 2.8
"FOR BY GRACE ARE YE SAVED (Sozo, Perfect Tense, Saved
in the past with continuing results into the future) THROUGH FAITH,
AND THAT NOT OF YOURSELVES; IT IS THE GIFT OF GOD, NOT OF WORKS, LEST ANY
