Basic Training
|
There
are an increasing number of Christians in the world
today that do not understand the basic truths of
Scripture. You will never grow unless you understand
the basic truths of God's Word. This section of
studies will therefore focus on "Christian
Basics", the basic truths of God's Word that
you need in order to function as a believer. Uncredited
articles are original to bibleteacher.org.

Church
Studies
|
Regardless
as to your denomination, if you are a Christian
(that is, you have accepted Jesus Christ as your
personal Savior), then you are all a part of that
great Bride of Christ, the Church. We of the household
of faith are all brothers and sisters together,
destined to a beautiful eternity in Heaven with
our Lord Jesus.

Cultic
Studies
|
A
cult is "Any organization that primarily rejects
the Biblical person of Jesus Christ as the only
Savior, that rejects or modifies the Biblical
person of God, that develops other texts and
calls them Scriptural outside of the only
Word of God, or that uses mind or emotional control
to achieve a hidden agenda from it's converts".
There are many cults in America today, cults that
exist only to blur the message of the Gospel.
There are also organizations and traditions that,
though not specifically cultic, offer cultic perspectives
and heretical doctrines that negatively impact Christianity.
Jesus was more descriptive: Matthew
24:23-24 "Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo,
here is Christ, or there; believe it not. For there
shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and
shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that,
if it were possible, they shall deceive the very
elect."
We
do not hate cults nor those involved in cultic activity,
but we do stand firm on the clearly taught truths
of God's Holy Word. That may not be politically
correct, but Christians were never called to
be politically correct. We are ambassadors of Jesus
Christ, preaching salvation by faith in Him alone.

Eschatology
Studies
|
Eschatology
is the study of "last things" in the Bible. That
is, eschatology focuses on the prophecies of the
Bible, and how they are being fulfilled in our times.
Eschatology also focuses on what is yet to come
(Heaven, Hell), and how it applies to our lives.
These studies (with more to follow) focus on "last
things". We are "pre-Tribulational" and
"pre-millennial" in our doctrinal view.

Ethical
Studies
|
Should
ethics and character matter? To hear the liberal
media talk about it, ethics really doesn't matter,
even if it's the ethics of the President of the
United States. But to God ethics matters.

Law
Studies
|
|
This
section emphasizes the differences between the Old
Testament Law (which was merely a teacher of that
which was to come) and the New Testament Law of the
Spirit (which is the perfect Will of God for the Christian).
Error often creeps into the local Church's doctrinal
viewpoint when we fail to understand the difference
between the two.

Original
Language Studies
|
Originally
the Old Testament was written in Hebrew, Chaldean,
and Aramaic, and the New Testament was written in
Koine Greek with some Aramaic. The reason you are
able to have an English translation of the Bible
today is because scholars sat down, studied these
original languages, and did their best to translate
this text over into English.

Outlines
of Studies
|
These
Topical Outlines are a brief topical study reference.
You can use these outlines in your own personal
Bible study to understand what God's Word teaches
about a variety of things. I make no effort (in
most cases) to interpret the outline, but rely on
the reader (along with the innate power of the Holy
Spirit) to use what is presented to see God's desire
for us, His children. These outlines are developed
from my two decades of researching the scriptures,
seeking to know the mind of God. Let
me know if these outlines were useful in your studies.

Relationship
Studies
|
|
These
studies all focus on intimate family relationships
(Parent to Child, Spouse to Spouse, Child to Parent),
and God's design in these relationships. We do not
have to be dysfunctional families, tossed about by
every whim of the devil's world.

Roman
Road Studies
|
I
have long loved the Pauline Epistles. Paul (as you
may or may not know) was a reportedly small man,
twisted with pain, nearly blind, and had a high
squeaky voice that often grated on the nerves of
his listeners. Yet God chose this man to be one
of the Greatest Apostles the Church has ever known.
You see, Paul focused not on his own pain, but on
the One who died for him, the One who he met on
Damascus Road. Paul fully understood God's principal
of Grace, unlike many of the over educated leaders
present in our Churches today. Paul was truly a
man of God.
These studies focus on
the Pauline Epistle to the Romans. We will examine
God's Word through outlines, historical perspectives,
original language studies, and by Doctrinal application.
I pray these studies will help you grow in Grace
and in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. As
usual, if you have any problem accessing these studies,
or just want further explanation, please contact
us at bibleteacher.org. We are here to serve!

Scripture
Studies
|
The
Bible is our ruler, our standard for growth and
behavior, the guide given to us by our loving Father
to direct us in our daily Christian walk. If we
start dissecting that guide, we might as well throw
up our hands and stop seeking closeness Christ.
The only way we can truly know Christ is through
the Scriptures.

Sunday
School Studies
|
All
"Selected Studies" are resources that were developed
specifically to aid teaching during Sunday School,
Discipleship Training, or group Bible Studies. These
studies focus on God's Word through outlines, historical
perspectives, original language studies, and by
Doctrinal application.

A
group of selected works that are to be used as an
aid in your own personal Bible study, or in leading
a Bible study group. Very little interpretation
is supplied as we have concentrated on providing
the Biblical text along with color coordinated original
language or historical annotation.

Systematic
Theology Studies
|
A
Systematic Theology is a work that takes the very
simplest, basic Doctrines of the Bible, teaches
these Doctrines, then using these teachings as a
springboard progresses toward the more difficult
Doctrines. The next study will always build on the
one just taught.
With
the wealth of information already at this site I'm
sure you're wondering "Why do we need a Systematic
Theology? After all, many of these studies are presented
as stand alone material elsewhere on the site".
Yes, that's true, some of the Doctrines found in
this Systematic Theology are indeed found as "stand
alone" studies elsewhere on this site. The
Systematic Theology will show how these Doctrines
interrelate with the other truths of the Scripture.
Systematic Theology is also a good place for new
Christians to start. Some of the works at this site
are definitely not geared toward the new Believer,
but assume that you understand certain basic Doctrines
necessary for that study. This is often not the
case, as I have found when answering my e-mail.
If you follow the Systematic Theology in the order
it is presented, you shouldn't have any problems
understanding the deeper studies presented later
in this work.
I cannot overemphasize
the importance of studying and applying the Word
of God to your lives. Failure to understand the
Word has caused carnality and division in our modern
day Church.

Theological
Studies

Look
at the nature and person of God as revealed in the
Scriptures. As you understand your Creator better,
you understand His Will for your life more clearly.

When
Deep Sleep Falleth
|
|
In
the past, Bibleteacher.org (Didaskalos Ministries)
has only posted articles that were either Bible Study
or Sermon material. However, we have received some
excellent material from supporters of this ministry
that fall into neither of these categories, but are
inspirational writings or commentaries. We
are pleased to present "When Deep Sleep Falleth",
a section devoted to this type of Bible based writing.
Hope you enjoy it!
