The Shortest Psalm

Psalm 117 : 1- 2 Praise the LORD, all you nations. Praise Him, all you people of the earth. For He loves us with unfailing love; the faithfulness of the LORD endures forever. Praise the LORD!
 
Read this Psalm with simple faith. Surely you will feel filled. We have enough and [a] full message in it. The specialty of this Psalm is [that] it fits with any other Psalm of similar character. You can by - heart this psalm and it completely talks about your faith in Jesus. Shall we meditate each word in this?
 
Praise the LORD, all you nations: (Psalm 117:1). The Psalmist [is] calling all the people to Praise the Lord. David prophetically calls every nation to Praise the Lord by Tasting His Mercy & Truth (These two are key words for this Psalm). How fit to the present day Christian. We are saved because we are in HIS mercy. Ephesians 2 talks about the mercy of GOD which [has] taken us from the cemetery to Heaven through the Only Way (John 14:6). Check your self - are you in His mercy?. If not, open your life and pour [yourself out] before Him. Don't feel ashamed. He is Your God. He will surely come to you and speaks to you. Since He told [you] "I am Life" (John 14:6), invite Him and He will come and HE Lives your life. [That] means YOU Live His Life. ([this is] understood! If not read John 15 patiently).
 
He loves us with unfailing love:  He Himself [is] love. When the time [was] fulfill[ed] the Love came into action. So He sent His [only] begotten Son Jesus to this World. John 3:16 is one [of the most powerful] statements of whole Bible. He came into our midst as Life (John 15 (wait for [a] powerful message on that [subject] for Church Leaders by G J Thimothy - already discussed in Youth Meeting). Accept this love. It never fails and makes you insult[ed]. It endureth for ever. (I Corinthians 13). The faithfulness of the LORD endures forever. And also [the] same with the Faithfulness just as HIS LOVE. We are not faithful.

It is very real with Bible Studies too. As the moderator of this small (now Top 10 Christian e-group which [has its] stress on Bible Teaching. Thanks to the day 28 April 1999 where this (Bible Study started with "WHAT IS THE MEANING OF LIFE") e-group and Bible Teacher for Teens4Jesus.org. Before every message I (some times we) used to cry, since I am not worthy to do this. I used to pray [to] God. "God I know lot of young boys/girls who are around me (in office, Church, in UESI Office) [better qualified]". I invited many times many [other] people [to teach]. God stopped them even [though] they are faithful to God and worth[ier] than me. God clearly said " I [have] chosen you to mold you and make you a complete man spiritually and materially. Do them both. I want you to be [a] witness for many people, especially [those] who come across your life. Be patient". He [is] really working. I know each and every bit of my Life and how GOD is guiding me in each step whether it is internet ministry, office work or some work at UESI Office. Please pray that I involve much in my Church activities and worship Him in truth and Spirit with all my heart and [remain] faithful to HIM.

Remember I am talking here with the beloved brethren who accepted Jesus in their personal Life. We have so many short fallings. But still God is so faithful unto us. Don't get depressed. Press On (Philippians 3:1). No turning back. Look forward, victory is for the people who press on with the NISSI in their hands. It will fly so high in HIS own time. Never care about [how] the people around you [think of you]. Be still - Salvation is yours. LOOK unto Jesus. [He] is great toward us : Literally it means "Prevailed over or protected us". And not only that, the Greek word used is also tell us that "He is Strong". Over all it means that He is [the] powerful protector [of] us. Prophetical of the prevalence of God's Grace in the world, in which aspect Paul quotes it (Romans 15:11; compare Psalms 47:2, 66:8).

In some translations it is combination of Truth and Mercy as discussed already. Mercy is ordinance, whereas Truth is a promise. Mercy lifts us up from [the] Grave to the right hand of Heaven. (EPHESIANS 2). Whereas Truth comes down from Heaven (Ephesians 1). If the lifting up from [the] Grave to Heaven is true then receiving the truth is True. He blessed [you] with all His spiritual blessings. If both are true then Surely you will ...

Praise the LORD (Psalm 117:2). God is Spirit .Those who worship Him shall worship Him [in] truth and spirit. Do you worship God with truth and spirit? Or [are] you messed up with the congregation and thinking that what your worship leader does [the] worship and you simply participate in that, or think that what you had this Sunday morning [alone] is Worship. Be careful of the Worship leaders. As of I know there is no designation according to [the] New Testament [of a position called] "Worship Leader". As per the information I gathered around the chennai. [Many times] those who are leading the so called "worship" don't know the meaning of worship. Be careful, diligent and watchful. Take a look at Philippians 3:1-3. [These are] harsh words by [the] Apostle Paul . Philippians 3 talks about the worship in detail: what has to be there in the worship and what not to be included.
