Remember Lot’s Wife
I believe the latter days are upon us. I believe Jesus could come at any time. When He does, it will be QUICK. Like in the days of Noah, God has allowed the world to hear the Gospel. Much time has passed since Christ ascended to Heaven. There will come a day – maybe today – when the Father says, “Son, go get my children!” When that happens it will be quick. Noah was preaching, then he and his family got on the Ark, and GOD CLOSED THE DOORS. Judgment had come. The rains fell. God’s grace was locked on board the Ark, and if you were on it you were saved.
Do you have Jesus in your lives?
As we are reading about Jesus’ return, our Lord gives us a short command.
Luke 17:32 Remember Lot’s wife. Continue reading
Heed God’s Word God’s Way (Part 2)
Last week we discussed the need for Godly leadership in a nation. This week Amy Coney Barrett was appointed to the Supreme Court of the United States amid the howls and cries of foul from those on the opposing political party. Frankly, I praise God for her appointment. The Bible says:
Proverbs 14:34 Righteousness exalteth a nation: but sin is a reproach to any people
I am not surprised that darkness is upset that a Christian woman was put on the Supreme Court. I just praise God that it happened. Pray for Justice Barrett, and all of our Supreme Court. We need our nation to turn back from the evil that it has normalized these last 50 or so years! … Continue reading
The Kingdom Of Heaven Is Like
Since I was saved at the age of 17 in a little community Church, the Church of God of Prophecy, I have often wondered what Heaven would be like. I suppose every Christian would love to know exactly what Heaven is like. We know a few things about Heaven, based upon what the Scripture has told us. Heaven is God’s Throne, and earth God’s footstool:
Isaiah 66:1 Thus saith the LORD, The heaven is my throne, and the earth is my footstool …
This means that Heaven is the place where God’s primary presence is. Though He is on earth, earth is but His footstool (Acts 7:49). Heaven is God’s Home, and though He is on the earth it is in Heaven that He is seen face to face. Though God is high and lifted up His people who will dwell with Him are humble and attentive to His rule. Continue reading

The Parable Of The Sower
Are you saved, dear one? If you are, you will be bearing fruit, in some capacity, for Jesus. In the Church today too many people sit about waiting to be waited on. Beloved, if you are waiting to be waited on, you are not fruitful – and perhaps not saved. Examine yourselves, whether you be in the faith or not. And if you are, begin sowing the Gospel seed. May God open our eyes and and our hearts to receive His Biblical truth. Continue reading

Faith Is (Names of God Series)
What is that which we call “Faith”? A lot of people define “faith” a lot of different ways. But how does GOD define “faith”? After all, this is what matters most. Let’s break down our focal text:
The word translated “substance” is the Greek ὑπόστασις hypóstasis, (pronounced hoop-os’-tas-is) which means “the firm foundation, the confidence, a substantial quality of a thing”. I hear people speak of “blind faith”, but “blind faith” is not the faith of the Christian. Our faith has substance. … Continue reading

Foundation Series #5: Walking With God
In Hebrews chapter 11 God wants us to know the blessing of walking with Him. God gives us a lot of examples of people – plain, ordinary, just folks – who were blessed beyond measure through faith, through a daily walk with God. You would think that God would start out with the Father of faith Abraham (Galatians 3:6-9). God spends some time throughout this chapter talking about Abraham, but He actually starts with two men that we know little about. God starts with Abel and Enoch. Continue reading
Walking With My Lord
In America today the Church that Jesus died for is in much the same position that Israel was in. We find ourselves surrounded by strange world views and bizarre philosophies. Relativism is in, and absolute truth is out. Continue reading
