Text: Acts 11:25-26

How often have we given people unbelievers the reason to doubt our faith? How often have we sent wrong signals to people about what Christianity is? We lift up hands in worship like the saints of God but our minds are full of bitterness and animosity. We can afford to lay the offerings of our substances on the altar of God but we are not willing to let go of our egos, bitterness, malice and dishonesty. For how long shall we keep living in self-deception? True Christianity is not in the abundance of gifts that we give for kingdom projects. It is not in how well we dress on Sundays; it is not in the softness of our voices or in the strength of our voices while condemning the wrongs of others. Most of what the world sees today is not the Church, but clubs pretending to be the Church. God is calling to Himself a people willing to be righteous, not self righteous, serving not served.
