Today was one of those days I was alone and my mind was free to revisit past incidents of my life. I am certain it’s by God’s grace that I could sit down and converse with God as I did some life’s introspection. I was taken by a deep warmth surprise at finding the most worthiest reasons to thank God for. It wasn’t those moments of great success, times of abundance and self fulfilment. Instead, I am grateful for those times when my heart was broken, when the dreams and the people I held close and tight were taken away from me, and when things did not go my way. The pain and hurts at the moment were true and difficult. But it was in those hurtful experiences that I was actually being rescued from the path of lesser life and dimmer light.
