About bibleteacherorg

A searching Pastor, I am looking for a people who love the Lord and love one another. Daily I pray for the Church. Most of what the world sees today is not the Church, but clubs pretending to be the Church. God is calling to Himself a people willing to be righteous, not self righteous, serving not served. I am called to pastor God's people, those who want to change the world by willingly and willfully following Jesus Christ. Only God is able to change the world, and we must follow His Christ. He is able! Praise His Name! Come quickly Lord Jesus!

Prayer, Praise, and Thanksgiving: Pray-Be-See Week 4

The heart must not be FOLLOWED, but it must be LED and CONTROLLED. Jesus said that it is not the ceremonies that make us close to God, but a heart focus on Him. Many religious people today are like the Pharisees of yesterday – they draw near to God outwardly, with the lips, but their hearts are far from Him. God knows the difference. Continue reading

Pray-Be-See Week 2: Prayer And Humility

I love Oreo® cookies. I love to eat them with milk. I’m not allowed to eat them anymore – the worst part of being diabetic – but nothing stops me from thinking about them. I don’t know what a serving size of Oreo® cookies is, but to me a serving size is one sleeve! The thing I love is the chocolate cookie, but that white center is what makes each Oreo® a double chocolate blessing. Without the white center the two cookies can’t hold together. If you look at … Continue reading

Prayer – Be – See Part 2: A Study For Our Church Growth

How often do you pray? A poll conducted by George Barna showed that many people, if they pray, pray less that seven minutes a week. If you only spoke to your significant other seven minutes a week then how long would you be a couple? Just the word “prayer” or “pray” is over 500 times used in God’s Word. Other words … Continue reading

How Big Is Your God?

What you sow – the seed you plant – shall eventually bring forth a harvest. If you sow evil, you will harvest evil. If you sow good, you will reap good. Many years may pass before you see the harvest. Continue reading

Prayer – Be – See Part 1: A Study For Our Church Prayer Growth

The intent of all prayer is not to get more STUFF from God. The intent of prayer is to get MORE OF GOD. The Lord is our Portion and our Strength. Continue reading

The Best Day Ever

Humans often say the wrong thing. God never says the wrong thing, but we do. One of the most quoted statements I have heard related to the life of Evangelist Dwight L. Moody. Moody was THE Billy Graham before there was a Billy Graham. The story as I heard it was that Dwight L. Moody … Continue reading

The Nature Of Evil

When we read our Bibles – particularly when we read the Old Testament – we often wonder if the text has anything to do with us who are believers in Christ in this Church Age. In Joshua God’s Old Testament Church was going into Canaan to conquer that land. God commissioned Israel to do his will. Canaan was a land nearly totally devoid of God. Continue reading

Lord, Teach Us To Pray: Part 2

Our Jesus is Eternal God made perfect Man. He is the Word Who was with God, and was God (John 1:1-3). But Jesus is also Man. Though many came to Him for help as He walked this earth, Jesus was ever mindful that as Human He had limitations. Our Jesus often withdrew to pray – to seek the Father’s Will and the Spirit’s empowerment. The Bible says: Continue reading

Where Do You Build Your Altar?

Israel took the much larger and much more fortified Jericho without the loss of even one life. If WE can storm Jericho and take it with no loss IMAGINE what we can do at Ai. Beloved, when it becomes more about US than it is about the LORD then it is not long before we are chased about by the lost. Continue reading

Blessing Requires A Covenant Relationship

Israel had marched around Jericho just as God commanded. Once a day for six days Israel followed the Ark of the Covenant SILENTLY, keeping their mouths shut. There was no murmuring – only obedience. In ancient warfare cities like Jericho were taken one of two ways: (1) Siege Engines and… Continue reading
